Printer Issues

Sometimes printers need a bit of TLC in order for them to keep working at their best. Or maybe you've had a paper jam or have errors appearing on the printer which won't clear.

Inkjets need a good clean inside and out and laser printers can also benefit from a thorough clean and also replacement of rollers and pads which will wear after a certain amount of usage.

If your printer is leaving streaky marks down the page, isn't picking up the paper cleanly or is leaving your finished prints looking grubby let our engineers give your printer a bit of tender loving care!

How much does it cost?

Our printer repair service costs £70.00 including vat plus any parts. We have an assessment charge of £30.00 including vat

What's the assessment for?

If, after a thorough investigation, we find that your printer is beyond repair or you do not wish to continue with the repair then this covers our costs for the time taken to investigate the fault. The assessment fee is deducted from the final repair bill, it is not an addition. For example, if you bring your printer to us and it is repaired, you do not pay the £30.00 assessment fee plus the £70.00 fix, just the £70.00.

What next?

Bring your printer in or we can collect from you and return (within a 5 mile radius) for a small additional cost. Click here to find out where we are and when we're open.

Why don't you offer a home service?

Stripping down printers can be a messy business and we don't want to run the risk of spilling toner or ink in the home. We have facilities in our workshops to strip and clean printers without having to worry about your carpets! In addition, we will often need to strip a printer down before we can assess any parts required, and with the vast number of different makes and models of printers our engineers cannot carry all the spares with them on the road.
